Playing the catch up game

so its like my 6th week of school and im still trying to get my life in order so im still catching up with my classes and reading. i know if a teacher ever reads this the will lose their mind almost half way through the semester and im not up to date but i guess this is how  bio major lives on the edge haha we really don't have that much stuff go on in our lives. this week has been good i made a scheduled at the beginning of the week and i have been doing  good job at keeping to it. i also started a spinning workshop its only 6 days but its great i love it i feel so pumped up when i get out. i have had alot of things to do but im getting them done. i just got out of my crazy organic chemistry class it was a short experiment so i have a little time before my spinning workshop. im totally looking forward to this weekend i have planed to go to the Lion King 3D it my favorite movie that's why im going I'll let you all know what i think about it. a movie i watched for my ethics and film class was Minority Report it was great i recommend it for all the people out there who want to see the future haha.

No He Didn't

The other day my roommate Leo and i went to CVS and as we ran around in the store we ran into a Justin Beaver tooth brush  and the crazy thing was that it sings to you as you brush your teeth yea i was like "no he didn't" then just last night i remembered that i needed to go down to the library and Leo came to keep me company it was 8pm and we got on the elevator on the 3rd floor to go down to ground floor and the elevator started to act up it would not go down the door keeps opening and closing i was like "no he didn't" so we decided to get out and take the stairs before we got stuck. as we walked down the stairs we could still hear it opening and closing the door. when we got to the ground floor we was the elevator was open and its door began to close again so Leo and i have come to the conclusion that the ghost in the elevator wanted to ride it alone. to top all this off this weekend i gave Leo my meal card for her to stalk up for me when i want home then she texts me when im at home and tells me that the guy at the cafe didn't let here i was like "no he didn't" it was a no he didn't weekend hope next weekend is better.

Lab Safty

As some of you know my work study job is to help the chair of the chemistry department i do everything he doesn't want to do. because he is such a great boss I'm also in is research group. and as some people who know him know he is not as picky as other research professors ans we had a little incident this last weekend  a girl in lab had a little accident so now we have to be extra careful in lab and have to were our goggles and gloves at all times. On that note i have alot of lab things to do like find the melting point of this thing that i made i don't even know what it is haha just don't tell my professor that haha.then i have to write a lab report and that is a every week thing but we don't seem to learn we are all rushing on Wednesday night to get it done but someday we will learn to organize our time just right.

Rafa brings me to school and we walk up the hill like always oddly enough the security doesn't ask for his id obviously he is new.i get to the dorm and see that Vero did my bed what a sweetheart NOT she did it because it drives her crazy all weekend looking at my undone bed. i put my stuff in my closet and the stupid drawer keeps opening as a science major i do several small experiments and conclude that  it opens when its full. Then i think i need to get this fixed asap what to do .."do i put in a work order to the school" and wait almost a month and maybe they wont even fix it or "do  i just fix it" and being from lennox I'm going to fix it so i find out that the floor is tilted to the front this causes the drawer to open so i put two peaces of folded cardboard on each side to make the cabinet tilt back a little and tada its fixed. then i try to do something before going to sleep but having Leo and Vero there it is hard to do anything come on we have to catch up we haven't seen each other for like 2 days haha.

A Great Weekend

i went home this weekend i have a blast with my boyfriend on Friday we didn't so anything it was a kick back day on Saturday he had to work in the morning so i staid home and watched  Dirty pretty things with my mom and Tony and Abraham i don't know what they thought of the movie but i learned that Mexican immigrants have to stop complaining about how they got to America this movie shows them that they did not have it that bad. to get to the point i recommend this movie. after my baby got home we went to do his laundry at the Lennox laundry mat you know the one next to Top Value i did my film homework as we waited for his close. i have never had to go to wash my lose at a laundry mat before and in the movies they always shot it as a creepy place where no one ever talks they just stare at you. but not in Lennox the chinito i guess he was the owner was really friendly and now they have this laundry card its all high tech  now this how it goes the laundry place sells you a card and you put money in it and they even have a little advantage to get you interested they will give you an extra 2 laundry bucks for every $20 and by the way it was not a dirty place very clean haha. later around 5pm went to long beach to the Latin American Festival it was by the walmart in LB  as the people who know me know that my boyfriend use to live in ling beach(now he lives at my house : p) he knows where you can park your can and if you want free parking you park on the street. so we park on 6th street and we walk through the CVS parking and as we cross the street we see 2 tow trucks pull in and take 2 cars yea these cars belong to latinos that did not read the sign that says that if you are not going to the stores that parking lot if for then your car will get towed (sad i know then they think latinos cant read). after getting through the CVS parking lot we run into a security that i guess is in charge of the parking lot m  and rafa walk past him and he tells us that if we are going to the festival we cant park there and me and rafa just nod our heads in agreement and continue walking.this is where things get weird the security starts yelling at us "enjoy the festival because when you get back you car wont be here!!"  i was like this nigga is stupid haha and by the way he was white i know you guess are dying to know. we didn't care he doesn't even know what car is ours haha and even if he did he cant do shit we may be immigrants but we are not stupid. we enjoyed the festival we even got la comadre Rok C to autograph her poster for us  she looks just like i thought rafa thought we was totally different he aviesly hasnt lived in LA long ahah. on out way back to the car we found this bad boy.

First day as a tutor

Well its the 3rd week of school and i had signed up to be a tutor for my Biology 1A class last year and i just had my first hour of teaching. my student looks very organized well as organized as a freshmen can be which i think is a good start. i enjoyed it i think this will be good for me i get payed and  i get to review the basics of bio. i have alot of things to do this year and i hope i have all the time i need to get them done. i have my fist quiz for my film lass tmrw i think it will go great.

Student Involvement Fair

This Thursday was the yearly student involvement fair at Mount Saint Mary's College and as a broke college student that loves free stuff i went and don't think that my friends didn't (right Veros  = p). they had all the clubs out and we ran around getting our free pencils, pens, i even got a free Lady Speed Stick its smells nice. half way through the journey i lost my friends the Veros pero eso no me aguito haha i was going to finish the trip even if it meant me doing it all alone. As i looked for the girls and continued to collect free things i ran into this cute panda and asked if i could take a picture with  him(like in the bio books as shown in Fig.1) . After about 10min i found the Veros they were at the shuttle stop. when one vero left me and the other vero went to eat and as we enjoyed our lunch i noticed the new male cashier and i asked vero if that was the as she put it the"new cute cashier" she said yes but he is not that cute anymore she said the guy who does the dished in the back is cuter. then continues by playing the "if you had to choose a guy" game. as i continued eating she whispers in the voice only vero can whisper in to tell me that the dish washer guy is coming out of the back door i turn to see him and the guy that mops the floor comes out and i simply tell her "the cashier" she says "no that's not him...pause..oh shit here he comes look!" i turn again and its the cafeteria manager i turn to her and repeat "the cashier" she makes that Vero was wrong face and says "here he comes " i turn and seeing that the dish washer again i turn to her and i say "the cashier" haha but i love my boyfriend so bby i love u don't get mad haha
